City Place at Pineapple Square
This $200 million project was recently approved by the city of Sarasota. This development will be an exciting mix of condos and retail shops located in the heart of downtown Sarasota.
The latest plan, which could change, calls for 30 to 40 new retail outlets at ground level , 276 condominium residences and a total of 1,067 parking spaces, 525 of them for the general public.
The project will provide a large breezeway for people. The breezeway will be the width of a street and be 30 feet high. Both sides will be lined with retail shops, the breezeway will be protected from weather and light-filled to make it comfortable and inviting to visit.
There is rumor that P.F. Chang and Morton's Steak House will be opening in Pineapple Square. Downtown Sarasota is quickly becoming one of Florida's hippest and exciting places to visit or live.
City Place condo prices start in the $400s and go up to the $900's.
